On the outside just one of those Japanese-made 2 1\2 ton aluminum body Vans but this one was special, I’d judged it’s speed and distance correctly which was about 15 MPH and a good 130 feet away giving me plenty of time to reach the doors of the tram, especially as drivers are required to stop behind a tram anyway but this cnut didn’t stop, both times that thing accelerated like a fcuking Ferrari, it nearly got me the first time but I’d been slow to step off the curb and it went past at about 45 MPH three feet away, second time I’d not been paying attention but still assessed the speed of the vehicle and it’s distance and then looked right left and right again yet this time it was quicker and got me on the arm with one hell of a whack bruising my arm to the bone ~ You could call that coincidence and me a bit slow for not immediately recalling the incident a few weeks previous but I’d been a little preoccupied with other matters, anyway same truck, same tram stop a few weeks apart and here’s the weird thing, diesel ‘OR‘ petrol trucks of that kind make a hell of a racket when the engine revs both from engine noise and fan noise but this one didn’t either time, had to have been boosted with one of those fancy Tesla style electric motors because that thing literally covered that distance like it was on a fcuking short-track drag strip yet with little if any noise…
