From about the age of 12 years old until age 27 I’d grown up knowing a shady Australian born man called Peter William Vanstone who lived the next road over from me, we often hung around together and pissed around with cars and booze, and later weed after I’d given up booze for 5 yrs due to it’s positive effect on my ability to swing a nasty overhand right basically, anyway he supposedly died in 1984 and of course I’d moved on ~ Then one day in the late 90’s I’d seen a droll goofball on American television that the presenters called Sheikh Osama Bin Laden and it took every bit of willpower I’d had not to burst out laughing…
Don’t get me wrong, I’d always known his death had been faked, I’d later learnt he’d been taken to Lubbock in Texas of all places where he received intensive US Special Forces Arabic language training but to see the guy out of the blue on TV like that nearly 15 years later being called a Sheikh, supposedly Sheik Osama Bin Laden of all things, damn, I’d almost broken Kayfabe as wrestlers call it…
