Allow me to tell you something about Oz, I’ve grown up here…

Australia used to have a well developed myth about an egalitarian society being what the nation was built on, in one sense we were all conservatives who used to only ever vote for the Australian Labor Party or the faceless communists who supported the rights of workers to join a union whenever our conscience pricked us and somehow grew larger than our dcik’s were, or our overall consumption of alcohol somehow became less than the tug of the feudal forelock respect for Australia’s German British (Battenberg) monarch we were all told to salute in primary school while singing “God save our Queen” every morning…

For those who didn’t know that German descent British Queen is from the same family of extended illegitimate cousins who’ve held every White House position from Hoover on and more than likely most of them since Lincoln who was also an illegitimate Battenberg cousin of Europe’s ruling monarchs, and a big newsflash here Aussie, they’re the one’s who’ve held the post of every single Prime Minister since Pig Iron Bob’s days only the bloodlines were all illegitimate, by that I’m saying their real mommies weren’t married to their real daddies…

Anyway I’m digressing more than a little there somewhat but it’s a fact that Australia ‘WAS’ an egalitarian culture once too, however you had to either be white and non-Irish as well as being one hell of a smart wit with a good sense of the law plus possess two fists of iron to make any use of it, or else be a good little doggie in the Masonic Lodge to be part of that mythical egalitarian culture, it’s like American comedian George Carlin occasionally used to say about the real power in America’s political dialogue, “It’s a big club and you ain’t in it”…
